Joe Simpson, Jessica’s father and manager, revealed that his daughter turned down a film role recently because it required her to play a porn star. “The last script that came to us was for Jessica to be a porn star,” he revealed. “We were promised we would win an Oscar with that. I was like, ‘Eh, we’ll just buy a statue of a little man and keep our clothes on’,” he added. Joe also divulged that the Dukes of Hazzard actress has been receiving quirky TV-show proposals every day. “We’re pitched those a lot. There are a lot of cool ones, and a lot of really strange ones,” he said.
